A Bit About Us & The Kennel

We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Enchanted Desert Labs! The Ortega Family, consisting of myself, Kc, and my husband Matthew, cannot contain our excitement for the incredible journey ahead. With our two wonderful children, we are setting out on this new adventure in our lives. Our ultimate vision is to instill in our kids a deep knowledge and respect for life, nature, and the wonders of life science.

Our family, along with our cherished labs, resides in beautiful Bosque Farms, NM, a charming community located just 15 minutes outside of Albuquerque, NM. Our home, nestled on a half-acre of land, provides the perfect space for our labs to thrive.

Continuing the legacy of Enchanted Desert Labs means committing to provide the highest quality AKC Labrador Retrievers to families around the world. As the new owners, we wholeheartedly embrace this mission. Al's vision has inspired us, and we are dedicated to upholding his standards and ensuring that the labs we produce are nothing short of exceptional.

Our journey with Enchanted Desert Labs started five years ago when we welcomed our first pup, Aspen, into our family. She was born in Chip and Habi's litter of 2018 and holds a special place in our hearts. Since then, we have expanded our furry family to include two black females named Zorra and Ella. Our sire, Opie, is a strikingly beautiful Fox Red Labrador.

We are thrilled to be continuing Al's vision by providing the finest Labrador Retrievers in the South-West. Upholding Al's legacy is an honor and a responsibility that we take very seriously. We are committed to ensuring that our labs possess the exceptional qualities that make Enchanted Desert Labs stand out.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to carry on Al's legacy and provide families with the best Labrador Retrievers in the South-West.
